From the French Foreign Legion to closing a DKK 10M investment round

Back in 2007, I climbed a razor fence in Castelnaudary. In 2018, I acted as SuperB's lawyer in a DKK 10M convertible round.

Back in 2007, on a Saturday night, I climbed a razor fence and was picked up by three friends who took the risk of driving to Castelnaudary to help me get home from the French Foreign Legion.

By Monday morning, I was sitting in a classroom next to a young kid with spiked hair and a peacock-inspired style of clothing. I had started a new chapter in my life and enrolled at IBC International Business College in Fredericia. The guy next to me was Martin Khoshsoda Jensen, who would become a founder of SuperB ten years later.

In 2018, I acted as SuperB’s lawyer in connection with the closing of a DKK 10M investment round from SEED Capital Denmark and Pre-Seed Ventures. The round was structured as a convertible loan.

In 2021, SuperB closed a EUR 12M Series A funding round led by Swedish Kinnevik and Knight Capital.

Now it’s 2025 - SuperB is a client of my law firm, Mace, and the founders, Martin Khoshsoda Jensen and Zaedo Musa, are great friends of mine.
